I plan on giving a lot more information on Ibn al-Quff. I will be talking about who his father was and how he raised him because it is quite important to what all he learned and became skilled in. I will go into more detail into his type of schooling and all of the things he was specifically taught. I plan on then talking about all of his books and commentaries he wrote and there direct importance when they were published. Then I will talk about how important they were in the years after they were wrote and their influence on medical practices. I will finish by talking about what these texts mean to us today and how many of them survived. I hope this sounds good and reasonable and would love any feedback and help with finding sources if anyone knows of any. Bakeore (talk) 04:24, 29 May 2013 (UTC)

Critiques
[edit]Hey Bronson, I just wanted to let you know that I read this article and I wanted to give you my feedback on it. It was good. I liked the discription of his reasons why he got into medicine and not just the science he contributed. I would suggest going back through and rereading for grammar because there were a few mistakes in that area. Also try an make the sentences flow together a little better. The seemed to be kind of choppy. Other than those things I liked the article and thought it was interesting. King0979 (talk) 12:56, 4 June 2013 (UTC)

I would try to examine other Encyclopedia entries to get a sense of the prose. Your article has good information but I would try to make it sound more matter of fact. There are good sources on ebscohost Jstor and other of the library homepage for finding sources. Another good plan if you still need help is to visit the librarians. They can be more helpful than you can imagine and are almost happpy to help finding sources or even proof reading your article to make it sound more proffessional. hopes this helps Tyler Boyd Boyd8420 (talk) 14:14, 3 June 2013 (UTC)
These all sound like really good ideas. I don't know if you should go into too much detail about his father because that's kind of a separate topic. If it really is important to this article, maybe just reference his father during the relevant parts. If you make a whole section about his father, that could be problematic because it would feel a little off-topic. Those sources look good and it looks like you will be able to get some really good information from them. Nro87 (talk) 21:03, 3 June 2013 (UTC)
